• To engage another person in wanting to talk with you
• To develop a relationship of mutual respect so person will listen to you
• To discover and understand what their interest and needs are
• To prepare a short personal testimony to connect with their specific needs
• To present Jesus as the answer to these needs
• To lead them to the Lord and direct them to a Godly discipleship program
